Sarah Spencer Northey (known as Spencer) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She joined the Mary’s Center staff in 2014. As a relationally-oriented therapist, she considers how individuals develop and interact within a systems context, whether she is meeting with a family group, a couple, or one-on-one.  Her approach is friendly, curious, and creative. She aims to empower clients by reflecting the strengths that are already within them so that they can achieve their goals as strong, brave, and wholehearted people. Prior to Mary’s Center she worked for a community mental health clinic in Hyattsville, Maryland.
