Miriam Hauser is the Behavioral Health Intake Manager and a psychotherapist at Mary’s Center. She joined Mary’s Center in 2021. Miriam has a background in international social work, providing services to refugees, asylum-seekers, and survivors of torture, and has lived in Egypt and Jordan. At Mary’s Center, Miriam oversees the Behavioral Health Department’s Open Access Intake system and is passionate about expanding access to behavioral health care. As a psychotherapist, Miriam takes a relational and integrative approach to services, bringing in skills from different theoretical approaches including person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy.
