I have extensive experience with providing LGBTQIA+ mental health services, gender-affirming care, and trauma recovery. I have over a decade of training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and provide both individual and group DBT counseling. I am direct, warm, non-judgmental, practical, creative, and authentically myself in sessions. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, I have worked with a variety of clientele for over eight years at Mary’s Center. I support the Informed Consent Model and a client’s autonomy and decision-making regarding social and medical transitions. My identities as an Asian, Latin, Queer, Trans Non-binary clinician may be important to others exploring their gender and hoping to work with someone in the community. During your therapy experience, you will learn how to regulate your emotions, tolerate stress, and become more mindful. You will obtain strategies to get what you want and need from life while maintaining and building your relationships.
