Megan Bailey, a native of the District of Columbia, joined the Mary’s Center team in 2017. During her studies, she participated in a number of community health projects and volunteer work in the Nashville metro area. She later worked at the Virginia Spine Institute within the Pain Management Center as a medical assistant and supported data collection for spinal research. She was also a staff nurse on an acutely-ill adult medicine IMC unit, where she served as Charge Nurse, Preceptor, and represented the unit as the designated Magnet Champion to support community outreach. Megan enjoys “meeting the community right where they are”. She is passionate about health literacy, benefit navigation, and women’s health. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband and her children. Megan enjoys traveling, running, and watching football!
