Attention: Masking is required for all participants and participant-facing staff at our clinics until further notice due to the ongoing presence of contagious illnesses and recent concerns regarding measles rates in the country. While we have seen a positive trend in respiratory illness hospitalization rates, we believe it is important to maintain this precautionary measure to safeguard the health and well-being of our participants, staff, and visitors. By wearing masks in clinical spaces, we can help reduce the risk of transmission and protect vulnerable individuals, including those who may be at higher risk of complications from certain contagious illnesses. The front desk will continue to have a supply of masks for participants and staff, as well as rapid COVID tests.
The CDC recommends the 2023–2024 updated COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Novavax, to protect against serious illness from COVID-19. If you are a Mary’s Center participant, the updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine formulation may be available for groups from 6 months of age and up at a clinic near you. You can order free at-home COVID-19 tests at covidtests.gov. Every home in the U.S. is eligible.
Please note that we are NOT accepting walk-ins. Due to the limited availability of the updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine, Mary’s Center is currently not offering appointments for COVID-19 vaccination only. To get the vaccine at Mary’s Center, you must be an established participant and need to schedule an appointment. All participants must provide insurance information or be assessed on the sliding fee scale. The COVID-19 vaccine is covered by most insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare for adults. For uninsured participants, who have DC Alliance or children with Medicaid, the cost will be a $23 administration fee. We have limited availability of free vaccines for uninsured adults. Please visit vaccine.gov for other free vaccine resources.
