“With this rebranding, we are not changing Mary’s Center’s philosophy—we are making sure every person knows that we are here to serve them. This rebranding is an opportunity to truly demonstrate our values of inclusivity, support, and connection,”
– Maria Gomez, Founder, President, and CEO.
We are proud to introduce our new brand which reflects our ongoing mission of providing high quality services to all communities across Washington DC and Maryland regardless of race, ethnicity, age, income-level, sexual orientation, or gender.
When our doors opened in 1988, we were a small health center focused on providing maternal and child care to 200 immigrant women and their babies. Today, we are a nationally ranked health center awarded for the quality of our comprehensive care. We offer primary healthcare services, along with free educational programs and social services to over 54,000 individuals.
The expansion of services built overtime at Mary’s Center is directly connected to the community needs that often go unmet by the public and private systems. Our mission is based on a belief that quality healthcare is a basic human right, and the foundation on which stronger communities are built.
That’s why it was so important to us to redesign our look. The design of our logo shows that by connecting each person to the best possible care, we will not only improve lives, but we will strengthen communities too – one person at a time. When we put care at the core, you can too.
